Jesse James Criscione operates one of the top comic stores in the greater Phoenix Area- aptly named JESSE JAMES COMICS. They present a nice selection of new comics, toys, back issues, and collectibles. They have one of the best presentations with a fun atmosphere loaded with Arcade games, Star Wars and genre movies playing around the clock, and more.
But more than just a local Brick & Mortar retailer, Jesse has grown his mail order internationally. Their FACEBOOK PAGE has become the most followers than ANY direct market comic retailer, with nearly 28,000 Fans. JJC offers a huge ebay selection with auctions and store inventories reloaded regularly. Jesse, and his big personality is gaining national recognition as well with his extensive convention reports on BLEEDINGCOOL.com one of the most heavily trafficked genre sites on the internet.
Jesse James has continued to reinvest his fortunes and passions back into the Arizona Pro-Am community, fostering a large talent pool of up and coming artists, creators and industry vets too. His trademarked doodle nights bring together dozens, many of which have gone on regular work for publishers big and small.There is a huge emphasis on local creators and independent press.
Jesse James Comics’ sponsorship and support of the 2013 AMAZING ARIZONA COMIC CON is extensive. Many of the books offered in the 5,000 Gift Bags are from their store stock. Further, they have two prime time locations on the show floor at booths #609/611. They are sponsors of Brian Augustyn’s portfolio reviews. Jesse will be featured at several panels throughout the weekend, including the SOCIAL MEDIA program Saturday Afternoon, and the Sunday #Comicmarket RETAIL REPORT.
