While Jim Lee and other Super Hero creators have been prominently advertised for the AMAZING ARIZONA COMIC CON, the First Comic Con of 2013 has something for the entire family. Enter: KID’s DAY at the AMAZING ARIZONA COMIC CON- Sunday, January 27th.
Sunday January 27 starts off with Sunday Morning Cartoons, a tradition every year where popular programs beginning airing right at the opening bell of the show. Each fan young hand old will receive a special door prize just for attending.
On the main convention floor, a writer/artist from Disney’s #1 rated hit TV show, PHINEAS & FERB, Mat Nastos, will doing free sketches for kids 10 and under.
Be sure to stop by the BOOM STUDIOS booth for some great ADVENTURE TIME comics. Based on the Cartoon Network TV show, the publisher will have special editions collectibles.
Spend the afternoon testing your skills with the VIDEO GAME Arena set up by the Arizona Hobbyist Paradise. Casual gaming will include the popular MARIO KART, and others favorites.
Kids of all ages will be greeted by the coolest costume groups in the Southwest. The ARIZONA AVENGERS, BATMAN’s GC5, JLAvengers, and Stormtroopers of the 501st. And in the afternoon, there will be a special costume contest just for the little ones, with prizes available for all who enter.
Take a ton of pictures, and create the memories that will last a lifetime. Face Painters, Art Areas and more will be just a part of a fantastic weekend experience for the whole family at the 2013 AMAZING ARIZONA COMIC CON.
